The No Fairytales Carrot, Beetroot, Kale and Paprika & Chili Tortilla (also called wraps) consist of 45% vegetables and are a source of fiber (5% of recommended daily amount of fiber per tortilla). When you eat two tortillas (80 grams) you already get 36 grams of vegetables. That is 14% of the recommended daily amount of vegetables. Fill these tortillas with lettuce, tomato, bell peppers and other vegetables and you quickly have a quarter of your daily amount of vegetables consumed!

The vegetables used give a nice extra flavor to the product. The bright colors are also from the vegetables. Because we are dealing with all natural ingredients, the colors are not always exactly the same.

Fermented vegetables

Fermentation is a process in which microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi and yeasts are used to make a food. Examples are: beer, wine, yogurt and sauerkraut. It improves digestion and restores the bacteria balance in your intestines. Fermented vegetables are rich in enzymes which improves the absorption of vitamins by the body. The products have few kilocalories, especially if you compare them with other products.
