It’s official! We are now a B Corp – an achievement we’ve worked hard to earn, as a B Corp Certification is not something that’s handed out lightly. In this blog, Ymke, our Impact Manager, explains what it means and how we navigated the certification process.

How do we make an impact?
You may already be familiar with our vision: working together to build a world where tasty and healthy food is the norm. With our B Corp Certification, we’re taking an extra step towards realising this mission. Together with our community, we continue to work on improvements. For instance, we recently launched our first consumer panel to better integrate your feedback into our products.
In addition, environmental sustainability is a key focus of our impact. With this certification, we aim to demonstrate that the planet is a top priority for us, and we’ll keep investing heavily in this area over the coming years.

What is a B Corp Certification?
A B Corp Certification signifies that a company has a positive impact on people, the environment, and society. This certificate is awarded by the non-profit organisation B Lab. B Lab describes the purpose of these companies with the inspiring phrase: “Force for Good.”
Companies with a B Corp Certification are actively committed to a sustainable future and take on their social responsibility.
“Our adventure is just beginning, and we can’t wait to make an even bigger impact with you!”
The journey to certification
We’re incredibly proud of our B Corp Certification. The process was rigorous but also highly educational. B Lab evaluates companies’ impacts across five key areas: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment, and Customers. This is assessed through a comprehensive questionnaire.
We had the support of Els from ‘From A to Green’, who guided us through the detailed process, helping us to successfully complete it.
